Bread Workshop

Service Description

This 3-week workshop will focus on the practical home skill of bread making. This class is appropriate for ages 3-12. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Children over 8 can be dropped off if desired. Learn: - Artisan Bread Loaf - Sandwich Bread - Sun Bread/ Challah Each week we will gather together as a small group near the wood burning stove to learn the history of bread, its cultural significance and its societal importance before hands on bread making. Each student will take home their own loaf of bread after every class along with a recipe card so that they can practice their skills at home. All materials including aprons, ingredients and utensils are included.
